This band from Southern England began as Nod in 1993 and re-named as Word of Nod in 2012 fronted by artist Peter ( Nod ) Owden. Starting more as a goth/ grunge act Word of Nod has morphed into a sludge alt metal band and as their albums show each time a little heavier than before. Recent single release “Fear Has A Glow“ demonstrates this well. Now based on the Sussex coast, were formed in the small weird market town of East Grinstead. Expect a tight dynamic heartfelt heavy experience. This year Word of Nod embark on recording their latest and heaviest album so far, “Storm Over Budapest” planned to be released in early 2025.
